now offers COVID-19 Rapid Testing.

We offer same-day COVID19 testing* right from the comfort of your own car or our brand new heated cottage.

No need to get down and come into the office! Please call to schedule an appointment before arriving due to overwhelming increases in patients wanting to be tested. We want to make sure you understand that at Heartlight Family Clinic, we have put countless measures in place to make sure you and our staff are safe.

Our highly trained and professional staff putting on Personal Protective Equipment and come directly to you.

*Testing is currently taking 2-3 days for results to come in. If you are a new patient to the clinic, register on our website, then call to schedule a same day appointment. Same day appointments do not guarantee same day results from your COVID-19 test. 


To protect you, we offer the option to schedule a same day or telehealth virtual visit so that we can care for you wherever you are. This is a good option for patients who have:

  • Mild or moderate illnesses (severe symptoms need an appointment for an in-person visit)
  • Chronic conditions that are stable with medication refills
  • Psychiatric and therapist appointments
  • Direct Primary Care visits
  • Followup appointments for ER visits, Hospitalizations, illnesses (when the condition has improved or is stable)
  • Telehealth is as easy as clicking on a Doxy.me link that we send to your email prior to your appointment. A telehealth consent form is required before your first virtual visit.

Here’s how we are protecting you during your visits to the clinic:

Sick visits are conducted in the parking lot in your car so only well patients come into the clinic.

Patients do not wait in the waiting area – they are brought directly to the back.

Cleaning is conducted several times a day and after each patient leaves a room.

Personal protection equipment is worn by our staff and providers when needed.

All visitors and staff (even the mailman) wear masks when they enter the clinic.

All patients are provided a mask if they don’t have one.

Everyone is asked to wash their hands or hand sanitize upon arrival to the clinic.

Even the pens and doorknobs get cleansed!

If you have questions for your provider, you can send them directly via your patient portal.
